Tralia Pizza began as a virtual or "pop up" restaurant at a local commissary kitchen in the Gulf Gate neighborhood of Sarasota, FL in the spring of 2020. With the effects of COVID still looming, chef Anthony Petralia offered his sourdough pizza and other Italian-inspired dishes one day a week via online pre-orders for takeout only.
Tralia Pizza quickly grew in popularity and expanded its operation by adding more pickup days and doing weekly pop ups at local bars and breweries. In January of 2023, Tralia Pizza opened their first brick and mortar in the same location they started as a virtual concept a few years earlier. Tralia Pizza now serves their Sourdough American Artisan Round and Detroit Syle Square pizzas, along with their expanded Italian-inspired menu in their new home, still in the Gulf Gate neighborhood, located at 6566 Gateway Ave in Sarasota, FL.

Chef Anthony has many accolades under his belt, including opening wildly popular concepts as Executive Chef at Seabar and Riva Italian Kitchen in the award winning St. Regis Resort, and now - his very own brick and mortar nestled in the beachside community of Sarasota Florida.
Tralia Pizza is Petralia's flagship restaurant and absolute passion. Bearing the suffix of his last name, Petralia can be seen adding his personal touches to each and every plate, 7 nights a week.
